Thompson Training Manager Presents at National Waterjet Training Conference

Gary Toothe, training manager for Thompson Industrial Services, recently wrote and submitted an abstract to the Waterjet Training Association. He was then invited to submit the paper for publication by the WJTA and to present at the national conference. He presented to a standing room only crowd!

Gary earned a BS in Marine Botany from the Univ. of Georgia and worked with the US Dept. of Agriculture before beginning his career in the industrial services field 19 years ago. He began as an entry-level laborer and worked through all field skill levels prior to joining a multi-national service provider as a Sales Engineer. Gary has since served extensively in quality, safety, and division management positions.

His experience greatly enhances Gary's ability to communicate effectively with the diverse group of individuals he instructs. His extensive experience also allows him to bring a personal perspective to the courses he develops and teaches. Courses range from New Hire training through all successive field skill levels, Sales Orientation through Industry Orientations for the Sales Professional, Management Skills through Advanced Financial Analysis.

Gary has been a member of the WJTA since 1998.
