Our goal is the same as yours: to minimize expensive, unproductive downtime by getting the job done quickly and efficiently. Thompson Industrial knows that much of a customer's downtime is directly related to the system cool down time needed to allow a worker's safe entrance to an area.

We've developed alternatives such as robotics and automated tools to allow the cleaning process to begin as soon as possible...well before the area can be safely entered by personnel. Thompson Industrial also uses Thermal Protection Suits for personnel to gain access to locations with temperatures as high as 300ºF. Use of these suits allows our highly-trained personnel to enter active hot work areas, and in other cases to access hot work areas in approximately 1/3 to 1/2 less time than typically required for the area to safely cool and allow unprotected access.
